My dear friend and producer told me about a women who helped Kate Winslet lose weight. She was a naturopath who was able to read your body with your face, a face anaylist. So of course I went on a mission to find her.
(Link to article: www.dailymail.co.uk/health/How-Kate-lost-stone)
I did.
However, it wasn't until about 5 calls later (made over about 2 months) I finally caught her PA. She said she does it by remote, you send photos of your face and then you have a phone appointment.
FYI, there is no paypal, you have to send it via moneygram to her UK bank account, that took a week in itself. The appointment is 105 Pounds.
Finally I sent my photos and we had our appointment. To be honest, she was a tad scary, but it was all good. She doesn't suffer fools and her tell it like it is approach is kind of refreshing in a 'scary' way.
My prognosis I thought I'd know, but sometimes you just need a kick up the #??@//! to get going and eat the right foods!
Her first words were 'You are very stubborn aren't you? Once you make your mind up, there's no chaning it'. Then we got into the acid state of my body and water rention etc, stuff I kind of knew but she advised some tissue salts and my diet.
I had to stop any salt, oils (could have organic salted butter - a little bit) and salty stuff. This is my plan:
Breakfast - My own homemade porriage of Oats, oatbran, dried fruit, nuts, blend and have with water or oat milk. (I actually blend it all plus frozen berries and oat milk and it's seriously yummy!)
Lunch - Baked potatoe (steam makes it go into starch) and then have mung beans and salad stuff, like tomatoes, cucumber OR 2 pieces of sourdough bread with a thin layer of barley miso and tomatoe (no salt and pepper)
Dinner - a piece of meat (steamed or baked, no oil) with 3 veg.
She spoke about having... lots of cous cous, barley etc, alkaline foods and when hungry oat cakes with a scrape of unsalted organic butter (thank God). No milk, no dairy.
Fruit: Apples, pears, berries (no lemon, oranges etc.)
I've been on it a week and as I'll explain in this weeks Newsletter, it's been a challenge, but now on Day 7 I feel good. It's not really difficult, but your social life is kind of out the window. I have to be on it for 2 weeks.
I did just want to find something that I could come back to that helps my body, I knew most of what she said, but I was surprised at the oil thing for my body. I have a lot of 'healthy' oils, but obviously too much.
For those of you who like a glass of vino, white dry is the best. The only thing I don't drink (arg).
I also found another great article that explains in details about the face according to Mishio Kushi Theory - I thinks it's an awesome explaination with tips on what to do!
Although, as they say, you must seek expert advice from a health practitioner if you are going to take herbs etc. (Blog Post Link - Face Reading)
So I hope this has inpsired you to see what your face is saying about yourself!
