FASHION + FOOD in Northern Beaches

Recently I was invited to an evening of food and fashion with a light meal and a fashion show put on by two stores next to each other in Collaroy.
Café Bar ‘Stay Grounded’ and Fashion Boutique Store ‘Alice ‘n’ Cooper’.
My friend who invited me is also a colleague as well, she works with me and my personal branding clients as my Intuitive Business Coach, so it was lovely to meet her community and friends. Oh and did I mention she was also one of the models! And did a fabulous job (popped a pic in below of her).
Being the Shopper I am, I was very excited to find some pieces I wanted to buy and I did, but I restrained myself to one - why deprive the many other shoppers there. Yes it was a full house and guests came pouring in to purchase the goodies they’d spotted on the runway.
It was no surprise that Stay Grounded was bought by some city folk 18 months ago, it has a real cosmopolitan feel, I could have been in some cool bar in Surry Hills. The Platters were sensational and apparently they sell the best gluten free bread in the area! However, the best part is the delicious owners, a husband and wife team Kisarn and Ryan, so approachable and fun - felt like I’d known them for years.
Alice ‘n’ Cooper, also owned and run by another husband and wife team Hannele and Lee (who was also a great compare for the show), has some fabulous pieces, Hannele really knows how to style a person and I love the choice of her brands (thank you love the dress I bought ;).
What a great success the night was, a community gathering, lots of excited purchases, a full house and happy full bellies - perfect combo.
