Making money from doing what you love

So you have something you do, a product you want to sell or a service you want to provide - you have your BRAND - yay! That’s the most important thing. I also hope it’s something you LOVE to do, because YOU are your brand and it’s all about knowing YOU.

1. Who’s your AUDIENCE? Who wants to buy your service or product? This is the most important step, because then you know who you are talking too PLUS it really shows you if there are any issues with your brand or product.

2. Get clear on what your brand stands for or what is it against? What are it’s core VALUES it’s qualities? Generally they are yours!

3. What is UNIQUE about your brand? Whatever you are selling or creating, most likely other people are too, so what’s the point of difference?

4. Depending on your budget and business, think about how you want to market and implement your brand, service or product. Is it in-store or online? To wholesalers or retailers?

5. Create your LOGO & WEBSITE, these are your starting point for a brand & business. Think about the colours and feel you like, get examples of other websites your like and use that when you brief your designer. Next step is building your content, video and stills to bring your brand and business to life!
